How do I install the Thrift Store app?

You can install Thrift Store directly from your browser without visiting an app store!

  • Android / Chrome: Tap the menu icon (three dots) and select "Install App" or "Add to Home Screen".
  • iOS / Safari: Tap the "Share" button (square with arrow) and select "Add to Home Screen".
  • Desktop: Click the install icon in the address bar (usually on the right side).
What is Thrift Store?

Thrift Store is Pakistan's modern online marketplace for buying and selling secondhand fashion and lifestyle items. We connect buyers with verified sellers across Pakistan, offering a safe, convenient, and trustworthy platform for thrift shopping.

Unlike social media selling, we provide proper e-commerce features like search, filters, secure checkout, order tracking, and buyer protection.

Is Thrift Store safe to use?

Yes! We prioritize safety and security for both buyers and sellers. Our platform includes:

  • Verified seller accounts with ratings and reviews
  • Secure payment processing (Cash on Delivery supported)
  • 7-day return policy for items not as described
  • Customer support to resolve disputes
  • Clear policies protecting both buyers and sellers
Do I need an account to shop?

You can browse products without an account, but you need to create a free account to:

  • Add items to your cart and wishlist
  • Place orders
  • Track your orders
  • Contact sellers
  • Leave reviews

Buying on Thrift Store

How do I place an order?
  1. Browse products and click on an item you like
  2. Click "Add to Cart" on the product page
  3. Go to your cart and click "Proceed to Checkout"
  4. Enter or select your delivery address
  5. Choose delivery method (Standard or Express)
  6. Select payment method (Cash on Delivery is available)
  7. Review your order and click "Place Order"
  8. You'll receive an order confirmation email
Can I buy from multiple sellers at once?

Yes! You can add items from different sellers to your cart and checkout in one go. However, each seller will ship their items separately, so you'll receive multiple packages.

You'll be charged separate shipping fees for each seller's items.

How do I know if an item will fit me?

Each product listing includes:

  • Size information (S, M, L, XL, or measurements in inches/cm)
  • Detailed product description
  • Multiple photos showing the item from different angles
  • Condition details (brand new, like new, gently used, etc.)

If you're unsure, contact the seller directly through the product page to ask for measurements or additional photos.

Can I cancel my order?

You can cancel your order if it's still in "Pending" status (before the seller confirms it). Go to your Order Details page and click "Cancel Order."

Once the seller confirms and ships your order, you cannot cancel it. However, you can return it within 7 days of delivery if it meets our return conditions.

How can I contact the seller?

After placing an order, you can contact the seller through your Order Details page. Click "Contact Seller" to send them a message.

The seller's email and phone number will also be visible on your order confirmation for direct communication.

Payment & Pricing

What payment methods do you accept?

Currently, we accept:

  • Cash on Delivery (COD): Pay in cash when you receive your order (most popular option)

Coming soon: Credit/debit cards, JazzCash, EasyPaisa, and bank transfers.

Are there any hidden charges?

No! The price you see at checkout is the final price. It includes:

  • Item price
  • Shipping charges
  • Any applicable taxes

There are no hidden fees or surprise charges.

Can I negotiate the price with sellers?

Currently, prices are fixed as listed by sellers. However, we're working on adding a "Make an Offer" feature that will allow buyers to negotiate prices on eligible items.

Keep an eye out for sales and discounts - many sellers offer promotions!

Shipping & Delivery

How long does delivery take?

Standard Delivery:

  • 3-7 business days (major cities like Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad)
  • 5-10 business days (other cities and towns)

Express Delivery:

  • 1-3 business days (major cities)
  • 2-5 business days (other areas)

Note: Delivery time starts from when the seller ships the item, not the order date.

How much does shipping cost?

Shipping charges vary based on:

  • Your delivery location
  • Weight and size of the item
  • Delivery method (Standard or Express)

Typical charges:

  • Standard: Rs. 150 - Rs. 300
  • Express: Rs. 250 - Rs. 500

Some sellers offer free shipping on orders above a certain amount.

Can I track my order?

Yes! Once your order is shipped, you'll receive:

  • Email with tracking number
  • SMS with tracking link
  • Real-time updates in your "My Orders" section

You can track your package's progress from the seller's location to your doorstep.

Do you deliver to my city?

We deliver to all major cities and towns across Pakistan including Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Faisalabad, Multan, Peshawar, Quetta, and many more.

Returns & Refunds

Can I return an item if I don't like it?

Returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery, but only for valid reasons:

  • Item not as described: If the item differs significantly from photos/description
  • Defective or damaged: If the item has defects not mentioned in the listing
  • Wrong item: If you received a completely different product
  • Counterfeit: If the item is fake despite being listed as authentic

"Change of mind" or "doesn't fit" are NOT valid return reasons unless the size was incorrectly described.

How do I request a return?
  1. Contact the seller first through your Order Details page
  2. If the seller doesn't respond or refuses, click "Request Return"
  3. Provide reason and photos showing the issue
  4. Wait for seller approval (48 hours)
  5. Ship the item back to the seller
  6. Receive refund after seller receives and inspects the item (3-5 days)
Who pays for return shipping?

Seller's fault (wrong item, item not as described, defective):

The seller covers return shipping costs.

Buyer's preference (change of mind, size issues):

The buyer covers return shipping costs.

How do I get my refund for COD orders?

For Cash on Delivery orders, refunds are issued via:

  • Bank transfer to your account
  • JazzCash or EasyPaisa wallet transfer
  • Platform credit for future purchases

Selling on Thrift Store

How do I start selling?
  1. Sign up for a free account
  2. Select "Seller Account" during registration
  3. Complete your seller profile (shop name, description, location)
  4. Start listing your items with photos and descriptions
  5. Wait for buyers to place orders
  6. Ship items and get paid!
Is there a fee to sell on Thrift Store?

Currently, listing products on Thrift Store is completely free! There are no listing fees, monthly fees, or hidden charges.

In the future, we may introduce optional premium features for sellers who want enhanced visibility, but basic selling will always remain free.

What can I sell on Thrift Store?

You can sell secondhand fashion and lifestyle items including:

  • Clothing (women's, men's, kids')
  • Shoes and footwear
  • Bags and accessories
  • Jewelry and watches
  • Other fashion items

You cannot sell: Counterfeit items, weapons, illegal items, hazardous materials, or anything prohibited by Pakistani law.

How do I ship orders to buyers?

When you receive an order:

  1. Confirm the order within 24 hours
  2. Package the item securely
  3. Use a courier service (TCS, Leopards, M&P, etc.)
  4. Add tracking info to the order in your seller dashboard
  5. The buyer pays shipping charges at checkout, which you can collect
How do I get paid for my sales?

For Cash on Delivery orders, you receive payment directly from the buyer upon delivery. The courier collects the cash and transfers it to you according to your arrangement with them.

We're working on adding more payment options and automatic seller payouts in the future.
